How & Crate Got Started
U.S. Pallet & Crate was built by people who have spent years in the pallet and wood packaging industry. Not selling it from behind a desk. Building it, sourcing it, hauling it and delivering it.
We started from the ground up, working directly with manufacturers, lumber suppliers, transportation providers and the customers on the receiving end. That is where we learned what a buyer actually needs, and it is a short list: quality that holds up, consistency order after order, pricing that competes, and delivery that shows up when it is supposed to.
Today we supply custom wood pallets, crates, skids, industrial wood products and bulk containers out of Kingwood, TX, to warehouses, plants, fabrication shops and job sites across Houston and nationwide.

More Than a Pallet Broker
We do not just go shopping for the cheapest pallet. We look at the whole picture: specification, volume, quality, freight, availability and total delivered cost.
A cheaper unit price is not a cheaper pallet if it arrives late, arrives short, or fails in your racking. We price the job the way it actually runs.
An Extension of Your Team
We work to become part of your purchasing and supply chain team rather than another vendor on a list. Pricing, quality, availability, delivery: if there is a problem in any of it, we are in it with you until it is solved.

Service Areas
We build in Kingwood and deliver across the Houston metro on our own trucks. Everything else ships nationwide by freight.
Houston Metro
Kingwood is our yard, and the Houston metro is our delivery area. Most of what leaves here goes to warehouses, plants, fabrication shops and job sites along the 59 corridor, around Beltway 8 and out toward the Port of Houston and the Ship Channel.
Local means what it should mean. Delivery on our trucks, a phone number a person answers, and someone who can come look at the load if the spec is not obvious.
Nationwide by Freight
Outside the Houston area we ship by common carrier, truckload and LTL. Export orders go out heat treated and stamped to ISPM-15 when the destination calls for it.
An out of state truckload is a normal order for us, not an exception. Tell us where it is going and we will quote the freight with it.
Adding more Texas locations is on the roadmap. We would rather name a city once we can back it with a real local operation than pad a list.
