U.S. Pallet & Crate is an industrial crating and packaging company in Houston, TX, building custom, export, hazmat, mil-spec and specialty crates out of our Kingwood facility. When a crate shifts, collapses or lets moisture in, the damage is rarely limited to the product. It is the delay, the claim, the replacement build and the customer who has to be told.
We design every crate around what is going inside it. Weight, where that weight sits, how the crate gets picked up, how far it travels and whether it stacks. That is the difference between a crate that happens to fit and a crate that does its job.
It also cuts the other way. Plenty of freight gets over crated because somebody was blamed for damage once and the spec never came back down. Over specification is a charge you pay on every shipment for the life of that spec. We will tell you when a lighter build does the job.

A crate carries its strength in the frame and the sheathing is a skin. A box carries its strength in the panels. Crates handle heavier and more concentrated loads.
Yes. One-time builds and recurring production runs both. Volume brings the per-unit price down but there is no minimum commitment.
